Methodology

How to read the estimated range.

This test draws 50 questions from a 200+ item pool across three reasoning domains. The total is converted to a provisional estimated IQ range. The conversion is not a validated population comparison.

What the test samples

Seventeen questions address two domains and sixteen address the third; together they sample pattern reasoning, number patterns, and spatial reasoning. The domains help organize feedback; they are not claimed as a complete model of intelligence. Reading fluency, education, language, device, attention, familiarity, sleep, and testing conditions can all affect a single result.

How scoring works

Each correct answer earns one point, for a total out of 50. We convert your total to a standard score with the conventional IQ scale: mean 100, standard deviation 15. Your free result shows a 15-point range around your estimate; the full report shows your exact IQ and percentile on the bell curve.

How the questions adapt

The test begins at a middle difficulty and tracks your performance in each domain. Correct answers raise the difficulty; misses lower it, so the form converges on the questions that measure you best. Every test-taker answers 50 questions balanced across the three domains, which keeps scores comparable.

Reference data

The current conversion uses placeholder parameters and has no validated adult reference sample. It must not be read as a population percentile or a clinical intelligence measurement. Any future calibration requires evidence and a documented version.

Appropriate use

Use the result for self-understanding, practice, and noticing which problem formats feel familiar. It is a provisional educational estimate, and it is not designed for diagnosis, gifted identification, or school or workplace selection.
